I've always been drawn to artistic expression – whether through drawing, painting, or digital design – while also being deeply curious about people and the forces that shape their behaviors. In many ways, art has been my way of adding to the world, while my curiosity about people has shaped how I navigate and understand it.

This blend of creativity and analytical thinking led me to pursue a B.S. in Cognitive Science with a specialization in Design & Interaction at UCSD. My undergrad studies opened up opportunities for me to collaborate with local businesses—such as Viasat, NeitClem Wholesale Insurance, and Pixley's Oddities—on small usability and design system development projects.

I secured an internship with iGrad / Enrich which eventually evolved into a full-time role. Designing for a B2B product challenged me to balance business goals, user needs, and client expectations. This experience sharpened my strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration, overall strengthening my adaptability and impact as a UX designer.

I took a brief hiatus from product design to focus on personal growth and new experiences, now working as a barista at a local coffee shop. However, this helped expand my perspective in unexpected ways. Encouraged to engage with every customer, I developed a deeper appreciation for authentic interactions and community building, seeing firsthand how small moments of connection can have a significant impact. Having genuine conversations with people everyday made me realize that everyone is facing their own challenges, so why not focus my actions on making the world a better and easier place to live in?

In a world where technology is inevitable, I believe the true value of design lies in creating beautiful solutions that not only meet practical needs but also respect unique perspectives and enhance the human experience — making everyday life more seamless and meaningful.
